Compact profile reactor (CPR) with µm-level positioning accuracy for measuring the axial profile of species concentration and temperature along the reactor axis; housing made of anodised aluminium; maximum pressure pmax = 20 bar; 60 mm isothermal reaction zone (heating, Tmax = 550 °C), temperature in the preheating zone (inlet zone) upstream of the reaction zone: Tmax = 550 °C (Tpreheat = Treaction), 4 mm effective diameter of the catalyst bed, temperature-controlled heating zone outside the reactor block (up to 200 °C), independent control loop for the heating zone and reactor block, temperature monitoring of the electronics (including safety shut-off), control of external analytical equipment
